Today we visited the Napier museum. We found out what life was like in Clive a long, long time ago.

Here are some of the activities we did.

We walked on stilts.

We had a bath.

We did the washing.

We had a turn to churn the butter.

We did the ironing with heavy irons.

  We played with wooden spinning tops

We cleaned the floor.

We played knuckle bones

We went to school and did some handwriting.

I turned the roller so the water would come out of the clothes.

I loved my bath.
